Hitching Press

The hitching press is made up of two pieces of 3/4" thick specially aged hard maple wood. 
Each board measures 7" x 36" 
and comes with 14 stainless steel carriage 
bolts, washers and wing nuts.

A hitching press is used to make a round hitched piece flat. It can be used for a number of different applications. For example pressing a belt, hatband or bridle parts.

We make this press in our own workshop here on the ranch. Each board is hand sanded and rub finished to make the very smoothest work surface possible. Our presses are lovingly made to last a lifetime.
