I currently don't have any workshops scheduled but check back to see if I have any new dates added. Workshops would be given in the Phoenix, Arizona valley area.

I do offer private lessons. I teach beginning to advanced horsehair braiding and hitching. The charge is $300.00 per day for one person or $200.00 each for two people if you schedule together. I have a bachelors of education from Arizona State University and love teaching. It's a wonderful gift to be able to give someone else knowledge.

Teaching starts at 9am, we'll decide ahead of time the location. It can be my home studio or a comfortable workshop location with good lighting. We break for a one hour lunch around noon. In the afternoon we continue with teaching until 5pm, about then is when you can't see straight and you need to stop anyway.

If you are interested in learning the basics of working with horsehair and learning beginning horsehair braiding most people can learn that in one day.

If you would like to learn more advanced braiding techniques, making tassels and also learn finishing techniques with horsehair needle knots you will probably need 2 or 3 days.

If you would like to learn horsehair hitching, I require that you learn the basics first, working with horsehair, making pulls, braiding, making a tassel and finishing techniques with horsehair needle knots. Once you are comfortable with those areas you can go on to learn horsehair hitching. I recommend setting aside at least 3 days to learn horsehair hitching.
